Meet Our Employees
I started 4MyDog & Me in June of 2002 as a vendor business to, as my husband puts it, support my “agility addiction”. In the beginning most of the items we sold were handmade by my husband and me. We still have some items that we make, but have grown quite a bit since our humble beginnings. For us, our customers are very much like extensions of our family. We enjoy seeing them at the shows and are interested in helping them to find the kind of products that they want. We extend the same philosophy to our “on-line” customer family. We strive to keep the “personal” touch in our business as this is truly our hallmark and pride.
Snickers
Snickers is our CEO (Canine Executive Officer). Being the oldest, she was the natural choice. Snickers is also an accomplished agility competitor (OK, she only has a novice title in AKC Standard and Jumpers!). Her greatest accomplishment is her ability to bring joy into the lives of many through her volunteering efforts as a therapy dog.
Biscuit
Biscuit's title is "Right Paw" or "Vice CEO" to her big sister, Snickers. Despite a slow start in puppy kindergarten, Biscuit did finally graduate and made her parents proud. Biscuit is a very special dog as she is very "in tune" to her human daddy and in Jan. 2004, saved his life when a massive blood clot entered his lung. She is also a registered therapy dog following in the rather large paw prints of her big sister.
Little Orphan Abby Gail
Abby became a part of the pack when she was 6 months old. As a rescue, she just wanted to bond with someone and decided to claim her foster mom on a permanent basis. Gabby Abby, as she is often called, takes her job as PR very seriously and is constantly talking. Why she doesn’t even quit talking when she’s running agility. Her favorite event to run is the jumpers courses. You can see why, she looks so cute in those mid air photo shots!
